Bullshit.

I had nothing to do with the Autism Forum, Sukey's forum, or RI. I am not a host at ATI, and the hosts their did it on their own (after you ignored several warnings from the hosts).

But this goes to show:

I couldn't have done it without you, Bela.

Barry Kort has no sense of personal responsibility. He is a professional victim, and a psuedo-martyr.

Being an internet asshole doesn't put you in the league of Jesus, Ghandi, Buddha, Socrates or Galileo (much as you like to compare yourself with them).

It just makes you an extraordinarily disfunctional individual who is addicted to punishement.

You are an insult to true martyrs.

You are an insult to true martyrs.

I am sorry if I insulted you.

[Bela]Bela - Aug 7, 2005 11:04 pm (#207 of 314) Reply

I am not a martyr.

But then, neither are you, no matter how often you try to peddle the notion.

[Moulton]Moulton - Aug 7, 2005 11:15 pm (#208 of 314) Reply

Did you know that the Greek word 'martyr' means 'witness'?

Prolly neither of us are terribly observant witnessess.

But if it comes to a contest, I'll concede you bear witness a whole lot more fervently and conscientiously than moi.

[Bela]Bela - Aug 7, 2005 11:17 pm (#209 of 314) Reply

I agree, you are certainly not conscientious.

[Moulton]Moulton - Aug 7, 2005 11:34 pm (#210 of 314) Reply

The keenness of your powers of observation are without parallel.

... some guy who is compulsively addicted to punishment ...

Wasn't 'Punisher' the name of the character whom Hobbes most dreaded?

I'll take 'Or Else' for 30 Kwaatlus, Alex.

Sukey Yaki

That's demonic.

Novakula - Aug 8, 2005 4:25 am (#214 of 314) Reply

I think that's bullshit and I hate that.

TumbleWeed - Aug 8, 2005 4:34 am (#215 of 314) Reply

Blow him off the landscape.

Hammurabi should be nihilated for the Kwaatlu reference.

And Novakula too, just cuz his name creeps me out.

DR is in no way the best forum. I looked at a while ago when it was mentioned. Yuk!

QED

DR is in no way the best forum.

Are you demonizing Demonizing Religion?

[Bela]Bela - Aug 8, 2005 8:51 am (#219 of 314) Reply

DR is in no way the best forum.

When it was new, it was quite stimulating, and with very little animosity--rather, lots of lively, informed discussions and a lot of genuine sharing.

Exactly what you wish your forums were.

I looked at a while ago when it was mentioned. Yuk!

Well, it is above your head.

But this is a typical Klatu ploy: slam the forum, as a way of lessoning the news that Barry Kort (Mr. Functional Dialogue) got himself banned from yet another forum.

[Moulton]Moulton - Aug 8, 2005 10:12 am (#220 of 314) Reply

Is it the intended function of DR to demonize belief systems (and their derivative practices) adopted on faith?

klaatu - Aug 8, 2005 10:17 am (#221 of 314) Reply

Bela is just so JEALOUS of my forums. So he badmouths them.

I didn't like the antagonism at DR. But that stimulates Bela.

Antagonism stimulates Bela.

You think?

Is Bela some kind of Drama Queen, addicted to vexagonistic/lunatic drama?

klaatu - Aug 8, 2005 12:43 pm (#223 of 314) Reply

I think.

Backstory

Do you have any theories as to how he got that way?
