How did Barry blow it so badly?

How many forums has he been banned from this year?

So, Barry, how did the battle to win the hearts and minds of the people at ATI go?

Did you help Klatu's case, before you got your stupid ass banned?

I didn't see a lot of defenders in your Kort, exactly.

Why is that?

Miya haha... love that little lego guy!

What did Hobbes know, and when did he know it?

Hobbes, when you adopted the policy of no right of due process in ATI, did you do so with the express understanding that this would be a crucial gap in the ATI Social Contract if Bela's plan to reprise a scapegoat drama was to be carried out to its successful completion?

Yes, when I activated Bela's plan to reprise a scapegoat drama two years ago, I hypnotized Hobbes.

Two days ago, I called him and whispered Afghanistan Bananastan into the phone; his eyes went blank and he immediately started carrying out my fiendish plot, summoning one of his minions to "remove" Barry.

Last night, I called him again, and snapped my fingers into the receiver.

He's spent most of today trying to figure what the hell just happened.

Numa Numa Yei

That song is unaccountably catchy.

Ain't it though?

You can learn all about the history of that song by visiting the Wiki Page about it, or Joi Ito's blog entry about it.

An astonishing number of parodies have appeared, most of which are frankly 'first drafts' if you know what I mean. Obviously I'm partial to the Lego versions (there are two of them). The Japanese parody version and the one with the Mexican and Asian Guy are funny, too.

In any event, it's a catchy number, and a good antidote to Oxytocin Deficit Disorder.

But enough about HeartBreak and its irrationably exhuberant cures.

I haven't seen you before, Dan. There is no trace of you in ATI, so I'm wondering how you found your way to our backwater ghetto here.

Did you arrive via some semi-random pointer in the BlogoSphere?

In any event, I'm delighted to make your acquaintence, and I hope you'll stick around and share with us more of your views on matters arcane, disturbing, and unaccountably compelling.

Probably so.

Hobbes, is that so? Have you been scratching your head, trying to figure out what happened?

Montana Mouse is still waiting for a response to his question...

What did Hobbes know, and when did he know it?

Dan, just so you know, if you follow any of Barry's links to his UTNE web site, he will use it to track your IP address. Any personal information you give will be added to his files on you.

FYI>

Bela you are confusing Cafe Utne, cafe.utne.com, with my Utnebury Pages on my personal home page.

The Utne web site is operated by Lens Publishing. I have no access to their server logs.

As to Dan's IP, he has a BLOG site, Bela, which is linked as his Home Page on his WX biography page here. And if you go there, you can see a photograph of him, along with a rather comprehensive personal biography.

The only thing about Dan that mystified me was his signature line, Ordo Ab Chao, which I had to look up. It's Latin for Order out of Chaos.

You might recall, Bela, that I have an essay or two on my Utnebury pages about that process.

Barry, I could give a fuck. You like to capture people's IP addresses and research personal info on forum members. Its one of the main reasons you got banned from ATI.

Yah. As I recall, it was the third reason Hobbes and Recycla came up with, after the first two reasons proposed by Recycla were exposed as untenable.

But I think you're gonna have to drop the 'and research personal information' part, since a lot of people do that, including yourself.

Better stick to a cause of action that is idiosyncratic to me and to no one else.

If you're lucky, no one else ever looks at their server logs.

Or if they do, they lie about it.
