You're not sharing all the information you know with your friends, to distort your side of the story.
You know why I wouldn't sign up here, but of course you're leaving out the important fact that I told you. Remember what I told you: Signing up for this forum requires signing up for a whole bunch of scam email marketing schemes. You didn't believe me. Try it yourself!
Because of your reputation as a stalker, and just in case you don't believe me, I looked up your phone number and address and signed up for hundreds of free offers in your name. You should be receiving a whole lot of junk email, early morning phone calls, and advertisements in the mail. Now you will be able to better understand why I didn't want to sign up on this forum in my own name. I hope you're in the market to refinance your student loan and your house, buy a Craftmatic adjustable bed, and all that other stuff you get spammed with.
I will now post the messages about why you were banned from slashdot, a self regulating forum.

It's that flip-flopping meaning of the term that we're discussing. Or at least trying to discuss, but Moulton keeps trying to change the subject of Intelligent Design to non-stupid industrial design, and the subject of Creationism to creativity, or whatever he can come up with to avoid directly answering the questions I'm asking.
On reading the posts in question, I'm inclined to take the position that Moulton is not an individual trying to discuss Intelligent Design through an intellectually dishonest tactic, but rather merely a troll.

Barry, I agree with cduffy that you are a troll. AFTER I read his message, I googled your name, and came up with this post from Bela. I was already 100% sure that you were a troll, before I ever saw Bella's message, so I didn't get that idea from Bella -- he just confirmed what was obvious to me and cduffy and everyone who moderated your posts down so far that you got kicked off slashdot: you have only YOURSELF to blame!

Perhaps you can find a psychologist who will give you a group discount.
But Moulton is off somewhere, doing research on how to solve the generic problem of Recursive Social Drama.
He should have lots of data-since he is one and the same as Dr. Barry Kort, who has gotten himself banned from, what, five or six forums this year? Who has done this for years and years, compulsively playing out the same victim drama?
In fact, one could say that a large part of Kort's life is a Socially Disfunctional Recursive Drama Queen act.
Again and again, he repeats the same behavior, knowing what the results will be.
And, again and again, he whines and complains about the results--as if they were any surprise.
Its quite likely that its the sympathy of Kort's little band of friendly rejects that floats his boat.
Barry gets to play the victim (by making himself one, ie by acting out and being disruptive, creepy, and by stalking people, until he gets ostracized, lambasted, banned) and then he gets to cuddle up with his fellow rejects, who lick his wounds and murmer about how unfair it all is.
What a sad, sick game.
If you are looking for a Recursive Social Drama, look no further.

I agree with you that "the system works". It's not an AI that rated you as a troll, it was the readers of slashdot themselves. Real live intelligent human beings voted you off the island! Yes, the Slashdot moderation system works very well, doesn't it?

Here's how the system works: you told me yourself that your accound was disabled because of all the negative moderation points you got. Obviously it works the way it was designed. If you have any question about how it was designed, then you can download the source code to slashdot and read it. It's open source, written in Perl (yuck).

So now you rationalize it as an "experiment" instead of a "mistake"? Did Picard propose that you perform that scientific experiment? Is she satisfied with the results? Does she want you to go back and do more "reseach"?
"Immune response" indeed. You're a parasite, and you got flushed out of the system, because it's designed to work that way. If you had anything useful to say, you would have gotten enough positive moderation points that you wouldn't have been kicked out.
On the other hand, I got quite a few positive moderation points from that discussion (insightful * 2, interesting * 2, funny * 2, and a new friend), but my karma is already capped at the maximum.
